Hadiya Aarbi, a 15-year-old girl from Sindh, Pakistan, was preparing to return home from Delhi. However, the last-minute U-turn by her uncle, who refused to donate his liver, lefther family devastated. Luckily for Hadiya, her mother Nausheen, who was not in a condition to donate her liver earlier when the family was still in Pakistan, was cleared for donating liver after undergoing several tests in India.

Like Hadiya, there are many Pakistanis who prefer to come to India for treatment because, for them, it’s just like home.
